Senior Dance
We offer a diverse curriculum based programme for students aged 13 to 20 years, taught by our experienced and distinguished faculty. Designed to develop confident and well – rounded dancers and performers, the programme offers our graded curriculum under-pinned by one of the worlds largest and well respected dance organisation, The Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance (ISTD). Vocational grades are accredited by Ofqual and include Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2. These exams form a cohesive bridge between grade work and professional examinations to provide the basis for either a career as a dancer or for further training as a dance teacher.
Senior Tap Dance
Various weekly class times to suit age and level / experience.
Tap dancing is an exciting percussive and rhythmical dance form. The dancer uses their feet to strike the floor, beating out a melody. Tap Dance is a theatrical art form, often seen on screen and stage musicals. Our clearly defined structure caters to all types of learners. Whether you child wishes to make dance and theatre their profession or pursue dance purely as a leisure activity in the context of safe practice, our classes are designed to develop confidence and well rounded dancers and performers.
Senior Modern Theatre Dance
Various weekly class times to suit age and level / experience.
Modern Theatre Dance is often seen on stages of musical theatre productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style.
Progressing Ballet Technique
Wednesday 5.00 – 5.45pm

An incredible and essential class for any aspiring dancer.
Accelerate your learning, body awareness, core strength and technical ability with this 45 minute conditioning class.
Use of backalast bands, large exercise balls, mats and hand weights.
Contemporary Dance

Pointe Work
Dancing en pointe is a significant milestone in every young dancer’s journey.
Various weekly class times to suit age and level / experience.
Once a dancer has studied ballet to Grade five levels or above and attends at least two weekly ballet classes and providing the student has gained strength to support the study of pointe work, then progress to this next level of training is recommended.
Partner Work
Students learn the basics of partner work in both Ballet and Modern classes at Grade five-level and above.

This complex and demanding element of dance training is taught under expert tutelage and safe practise. Male students undergo weight and strength training in preparation for this element of dance performance for in-house productions and competitions locally and nationally.
